Lamen Island in the distance by yumievriwan

We had some terrific rain storms while on Epi. The threatening clouds made for some dramatic lighting around Lamen Island. There is a story associated with Lamen Island and how it got to be where it is. Evidently, it came from a reef in SE Malakula and floated over to Epi. There is said to be a hole in the reef where it once lodged. Unfortunately, the map doesn't take you close enough to this area.
